We are 6 weeks-ish from meeting our son Brecken John Thorn! Lahna is so excited and cannot stop kissing and feeling my belly. Molly is still Lahna's best friend in the world... they play so well together! Lahna is happy as long as she is singing or dancing or reading books! When you ask her where daddy is, she replies, "shooing elk!" (with the motions and all but we know she means "shooting" not "shooing.") John is enjoying hunting season. He is currently hunting for bear, elk, deer, wolves, antelope (SP?), and turkey. We are praying that he comes home with something soon! I am feeling great currently in my pregnancy. I am 33 weeks. Work has slowed down for me though upon doctor's orders. Not because of my health but due to exposure to the swine flu which is running crazy right now in our area. We try to post pics more often however our new camera is too high in megapixils to upload to this website so we can usually only upload pics from our phones or older camera. Sorry. Take care!

Updates: John has been working on projects around the house. He just finished installing an new granite tile counter top with oak trim. Then He got started stripping the entire outside of our log home only to then sand the whole house and now is getting ready to prep and stain it. The good news is that it only needs done every 15 years when you use really expensive stain so we should be good after this is done. I have just been balanceing continued fatigue from this little boy growing inside, work, and a near 2 year old wonderful little one! Lahna is growing big. She has a full vocabulary and is able to tell us pretty much anything that she wants, yet adds to her vocabulary daily. She is saying short little sentences. She will be 2 in September and we are currently deciding on a birthday party theme. She kisses mama's belly almost daily and loves her babies, blankies, and cooking in her kitchen. Baby boy- still without a name but we finally have a few possibilities on a list, but none that we love as much as Lahna's name so far so we are still looking. He is kicking mama and is nearly palpable to daddy on the outside but we can't seem to catch him in action. Growing quickly. See his new webpage of pics. Take care all!

Lahna is saying everything! Her vocabulary is huge and so amazing! New things daily. She put all of the shapes in her shape ball (10 shapes) by herself and identifies "owals" (ovals) and "stas" (stars) accurately. She switched to a Toddler bed this week and is doing great! We did an utrasound today at 12 weeks (according to ultrasound) and 13 weeks (according to dates). Everything looks great on the baby and all of the appropriate parts were there. We should be able to find out the sex in a month. John and I are gearing up for summer.

Hellow everyone! To those of you who didn't know it yet... we are expecting our second child on 11/25/09! We are very excited. Lahna points to my belly when you ask her where the baby is, and is practicing saying "big sister," which she does pretty well with. Not much else new. It is still snowing but the season is coming to an end for John as the mountain closes this weekend (due to bear hibernation ending... that's not a ski buddy I want to run into.) Because of this the home improvement season is taking off with the ordering and installation of a granite tile countertop for our kitchen with the goal of finishing before bear hunting season begins in late April.
